The 5K and the marathon are my two least favorite The 5K and the marathon are my two least favorite distances to train for, and for totally different reasons. The 5K leaves me wheezing, and the marathon requires immense time commitment and a week's worth of pain after. 

But, another summer means another stab at sub-23, and this workout began the cycle for me! A mean 20mph headwind tried to derail my efforts, but didn't quite bring me down how it wanted to. Only gets harder from here!
