Marathon training featured 60-70+ mile weeks and m Marathon training featured 60-70+ mile weeks and minimal strength work, very endurance forward and unbalanced. This was necessary for me to run a 3:49 race a month ago. A MONTH AGO. What?!

Now I'm in my offseason and working my way back from a knee ailment, so my mileage is dropping and time in the gym increasing. In a couple weeks I hope to be stable at 40ish miles per week and 4-5 days in the gym, working hardest on mobility and boosting the power in my hips and glutes, which are the causes of any injury I develop.

32.4 miles this week of run/walk and 5 quality sessions with dumbbells and bands. Looking good so far!
