poolside pickle snack mix
Here's the dill: cool water, warm sunshine, crunchy Chex mix. Ahhh, summer.
Prep Time 10 minutes mins

Total Time 30 minutes mins
- 1 stick butter, melted and cooled slightly
- 1/3 cup dill pickle brine
- 1 tbsp dried dill
- 2 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 3 cups mini pretzel twists
- 2 cups corn Chex
- 1 1/2 cups white cheddar Goldfish
- 1 1/2 cups Cheez-its (I like "extra toasty")
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line two large baking sheets with parchment
Whisk together the melted butter, pickle brine, dill, parsley, garlic, and onion powders, as well as a pinch of black pepper.
In a very large bowl, measure in the pretzels, Chex, Goldfish, and Cheez Its. Pour in the spiced butter and mix for 2-3 minutes with a large wooden spoon or you CLEAN hands, until very well combined.
Divide the snack mix onto the prepared baking sheets, spreading the components in an even layer. Bake 15-20 minutes, turning once halfway through, until lightly golden in spots and crisp. Let cool on the baking sheets – the mix will continue to crisp up.
When fully cool, pour into a large serving platter and dig in!
