Instructions
In a small saucepan, heat the milk until steaming - do not boil or else your milk will scald. Move the pan off the heat and add the chai tea bags and sugar (if using). Steep 10 minutes. Discard the tea bags.
Melt the cookie butter in the microwave for 20-30 seconds until smooth, then divide between two mugs. Pull two shots of espresso for each mug and stir with the cookie butter. Pour the chai milk into both cups.
Garnish with whipped cream, crumbled Lotus cookies, and a whole Lotus cookie, as desired.
